A farewell party for Midori

Midori, a JYPE exchange student from the University of Washington, spent the past five months with us in Takamura group. 

In August, we had a farewell party for her. Saying goodbye was sad, but we spent the evening sharing memories together.
 

Midori's Japanese is impressively fluent, and her warm smile always brightened the mood in Takamura group. She also worked hard on the PLD experiments. She was so quick and skillful that she picked up new techniques in no time, which I all admired.
 

We shared love for Sanrio, talked about our cultural differences, and even took a weekend trip together to Matsushima. Thanks to Midori, these past five months have been truly wonderful.
